b). ' STILLWATER' Blouson Fleece Jacket

Following the success of NOMADUK's 'STEALTH' waterproof breathable fleeces during the PEREGRINE/ NOMADUK International Team Challenge we developed a design which we believe to be more specific to stillwater angling. 

Made in a slightly different  waterproof, windproof breathable fleece to the 'STEALTH's, and with a breathable lining the 'STILLWATER BLOUSON' has been designed  and even tailored with the Stillwater Boat Angler in mind following three years exhaustive trialling.

To those who have experienced it, nine times out of ten a waterproof windproof breathable fleece makes sense over a regular waterproof coat - even a breathable one. c). NOMADUK  Rod, Line & Case Package

In learning how to cast and fly fish the most important item is a balanced fly line and fly rod, without these all attempts to cast smoothly are impaired irrespective of caster's natural ability. Rods need to have a through - action rather than a tippy fast action which allows casters to feel the line throughout the cast thus avoiding tailing loops, 'wind knots' etc whilst permitting optimum presentation. Lines are equally important, and, with the large variety of lines and tapers currently available there is some confusion as to what line is best for which rod, never mind the fishing situation. 

Accordingly therefore, we at NOMAD UK have developed a range of through- actioned rods  to match a CLIMAX Floating fly - line which incorporates a clearly marked blue section which in turn highlights the distance of line out at which the rod is optimally 'working' thus aiding in casting technique.

Each rod is designed to do a specific job but is ‘tweaked’ to give that little bit more whether it be in relation to lines used or quarries sought after giving that much more value for money. On top of this  all rods come in their own protective Rod / Reel bag with room for a fly box enabling everything to be carried together.

Finished in a flash-free black matt, with the best of fittings and cork plus black aluminium reel  seats, the quality of workmanship can be seen in the trueness and seating of each joint plus the outstanding standard of varnishing.

There is a difference in the make-up of the Saltwater and  Freshwater designs with the latter being made up of 50 million modulus plus carbon resulting in an exceptionally light, powerful and very responsive action whilst Saltwater fish and fishing conditions demand a more robust taper, a more powerful butt section and carbon structure for strength and quick loading, plus oversized snake rings
